Senior School House Leaders 

The Senior School students in each House elect 2 males and 2 females in Year 12 as their Senior School House Leaders.

Senior School House Leaders' Role:

  • Represent the student body of their Senior School House.
  • Become a member of a Senior School Student Leaders Group, representing their House.
  • Work with Middle School Leaders on a needs basis.
  • Disseminate information to the PCG’s in their House when needed.
  • Assist in the organisation and the running of House assemblies.
  • Engage students in Senior School PCG’s in conversation about House issues.
  • Show leadership and assist with House events such as Swimming Carnival and Athletics Carnival.
  • Motivate and encourage students including International students to participate in House events, promoting the House ethos.
  • Organise teams for the SJ Dowdy Cup and other House Competitions and encourage students in the Senior  School to participate.
  • Meet regularly with staff House Managers and attend House Meetings as required to raise student issues when appropriate.
  • Assist with the upkeep of the House Noticeboard.
  • Model exemplary personal traits as becoming to a leader at Adelaide High School including appropriate behaviour and uniform.
