There will be a progress check by the end of Week 10 - Part 1
The written component is due by the end of Week 11 - Part 2
The oral component can be done during Weeks 1 & 2 of Term 2

Task
Research an aspect of Italian culture that you are intersted in. Check with your teacehr to ensure that your topic is suitable. You must present the information in written form & orally to the class. Think of an interesting way to present your work. eg. as a tour guide, a travel show reporter (like Catriona or Ben from Getaway), a tourist.

Criteria

• use of your own words
• proper sequencing (intro + map/ body = content (6 subtopics) / conclusion + Bibliography)
• evidence of conducting research & redrafting in class (level of commitment to the task)
• use of fluent, correct English (& few phrases or sentences in Italian)
• attempt made to present the oral or the written work in an interesting way
• appropriate length
  * The written work should be between 600 and 800 words in length
  * The Oral Presentation should be between 1 and 2 minutes.
