Introduction

So you're studying Spanish at Adelaide High but how much do you actually know about the country Spain? In this assignment you are going to study one region of Spain and look at its culture, people and attractions.

Task and Process

1. Choose a region of Spain in consultation with your teacher.

2. You are to prepare a poster on that region which includes the following information:

• A map showing the relationship of the region to the rest of Spain and its capital.
• Information on the region such as:
  

  Places to visit Language/s Famous people Typical food and drink important buildings and monuments

4. Try and include pictures to illustrate your information. If you are not sure how to download pictures click here for some helpful notes.

5. Although this assignment is to be done mainly in English, it is expected that you will use some vocabulary/phrases in Spanish, especially the names of the capital, country, places to visit, foods etc.
