~ Puberty Assignment ~

Task:
Design an Adventure Story which outlines the changes which occur in the opposite sex during puberty.

  1. Imagine you are a hormone (or hormones) about to be released from the Pituitary Gland in the brain of a child ready for puberty. You are about to embark on a great adventure through the body.
  2. Write a story that details the "sights" you pass on your journey through the body and what effect you have on the body as the chemicals you release start to trigger all the changes which occur during puberty.
  3. You must write your story on the changes which occur in the opposite gender.

Process:

  1. You will need to complete some basic research to help in the planning and completion of this adventure story.
  2. You are advised to use more than one source for your research so as to gain a better understanding of your topic. Your notes from class may also be used as a major source of reference.
  3. You should document all sources of information that you used by compiling a bibliography. A Bibliography Template and a Webliography Template (for Internet resources) can be downloaded off the Intranet.
  4. Before attempting the final story, spend some time planning it by constructing a rough copy.
  5. Ensure your story has been proof read and checked for any spelling and/or grammatical errors.
