~ Alcohol Assignment ~

Task:
Design a bi-fold brochure on the topic of alcohol. The brochure is intended to give information about the dangers and risks of using alcohol – both long and short term.

Process:

  1. You will need to complete some basic research to help in the planning and completion of this brochure.
  2. You are advised to use more than one source for your research so as to gain a better understanding of your topic.
  3. You should document all sources of information that you used by compiling a bibliography. A Bibliography Template and a Webliography Template (for Internet resources)can be downloaded off the Intranet.
  4. Before attempting the final brochure, spend some time planning it by constructing a rough copy which outlines where the drawing/pictures/graphs/tables/text will go.
  5. Come up with a catchy slogan for your information brochure: it should be creative and describe the content of your brochure.
  6. Your brochure should include tables which outline the alcohol content of drinks and the size of standard drinks in the various types of alcohol.
  7. It should also include information regarding agencies people can contact should they have alcohol problems.
  8. The information should be presented in dot point form rather than in margin to margin test.
  9. The brochure is to be word processed using a desktop publishing program to give it a professional finish.
