Templates

Now that you have completed your storyboard and compiled your list of resources its time to create your Webquest. If you want help setting out your Webquest use one of the following templates as a basis.

Dreamweaver

Alternately use Dreamweaver to complete your Webquest without using a template.

Should you need extra help using Dreamweaver use one of the tutorials listed on the Training Links page or the one below which was designed for students in the Learning Quest Course.

Remember though:

The templates from The Webquest Page are often for a 1 page web- they may end up being too long once you put all your information on.

If this is the case, consider making your own site with multiple pages using Dreamweaver. If you take up this option, make sure you include pages for:

  • Index

  • Introduction
  • Task

  • Process

  • ( 4 roles )

  • Evaluation

  • Conclusion

  • Teacher information

  • Credits and references

Images and Pictures

  •  Don't copy and past images. Remember to save them as a file in the "images" folder of your web and then insert them using Dreamweaver.

  •  Make sure you acknowledge in your bibliography the sources of all images  - ensuring that you have met all copyright requirements

  •  Microsoft Design Gallery Live has a great collection of copyright-free images.

  • Alternately use any of the links on the "Web Design Resources" section of the "Training Links" page of this website.

  • Don't overuse images and animations and make sure the pages don't take too long to load.
