Congratulations to the Class of 2017 on their outstanding SACE results.

The Adelaide High School community are extremely proud of the results achieved by the Class of 2017.
Adelaide High School students achieved 29 Merits and 53 A+ grades, with 1 student achieving 5 Merits and 4 others achieving 2 Merits each. 21 students achieved perfect scores. 

Special congratulations to Karan Loomba, Dux of the School, with an ATAR of 99.9, 5 Merits and 5 A+s.

  • Steven Phan: 99.75 (2 Merits, 4 A+s)
  • Wenlan Dai: 99.6 (1 Merit, 2 A+s)

  • A Band = 382 which is 28.57% of all grades for 2017
  • B Band = 631 which is 47.2% of all grades for 2017
  • C Band = 301 which is 22.51% of all grades for 2017
  • 75.77% of all grades for 2017 are in the A and B Bands

SACE completion for 2017 was 97.64% and is above the state average of 97.33%

University Entrance

The statistics for university entrance are equally impressive. 236 students generated an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank [ATAR] in 2017, with 50 students generating an ATAR of above 90 which constitutes 21.28% of the cohort. 
91 students generated an ATAR of 80 or above or 38.72% of the cohort. 
139 students generated an ATAR of 70 or above or 59.15% of the cohort. 
The mean ATAR was 73.86.
