Personal Learning Plan
The Personal Learning Plan (PLP) is a compulsory subject that students need to pass in order to gain their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE).
It is worth 10 credits and is undertaken in Year 10 at Adelaide High School. Further information is available at the SACE Board website: Personal Learning Plan.
Through a series of formative and summative activities and tasks, students identify their abilities, dispositions and aspirations beyond school then decide on possible career choices and pathways to achieve them. Students are supported throughout this process by their Pastoral Care teacher and time is provided as part of the Pastoral Care Program.
There are four major tasks that students need to complete in order to pass (gain a C grade or better). Each task is graded and a final grade is determined after all tasks have been completed.
