
Adelaide High School will throw open its doors and showcase its programs and activities for students during Open Night on the evening of April 4, 2012.
Between 5.30pm and 8.00pm, visitors will be able to view interactive displays from all Learning Areas and programs on offer at the school.
More than 400 students from all year levels will be on hand to work on displays or conduct visitors on guided tours around the school. If visitors choose, they can take a self guided tour using the Open Night Tour Booklet which contains information on each of the displays operating on the night.
The Principal, Ms Anita Zocchi, and two Year 8 students will make a presentation in the school Hall at 6.30pm.
Application forms for entry into the Special Language, Cricket or Rowing Programs will also be available on the night.
Parking will be available on the school oval and the Cricket Club will be operating a Sausage Sizzle for a small charge.

Special Language Entry for 2013
Adelaide High School is South Australia’s Special Interest Language School. 60 students are accepted into Year 8 through the Special Language Program each year. Students commit to study two languages other than English until at least the end of Year 10.
The following languages are offered:
Chinese | French | German | Italian | Japanese | Modern Greek | Spanish.
Special Cricket or Rowing Entry for 2013
Places are also available through the Rowing and Cricket Programs of Excellence.
Centre for Hearing Impaired
Adelaide High School enrols students into a Centre for the Hearing Impaired.
Application forms are available from your Primary School and directly from Adelaide High School.
Special Entry applications are due Tuesday 24 April, 2012.
