Summary of Resources

• Specialised computer suites in the Art, Multimedia and Photography teaching areas for graphic design, animation, filmmaking and computer-assisted design work
• 20 laptop computers and six data show projectors for classroom use, accessed via the Resource Centre
• 2 wireless laptop trolleys, containing 40 laptop computers
• 18 laptops for International Student Program priority use
• 24 networked computers in the Library for individual and class use
• Six laptop computers to support student literacy available from the Resource Centre
• 1200 wireless laptops and netbooks distributed to Staff and Year 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 students as part of the AHS 1:1 laptop program
• 10 digital cameras
• 40 Flip Movie Cameras
• 9 fixed Interactive Whiteboards (Smartboards) and 6 mobiles (Mimios)
• 60 ceiling mounted data projectors in teaching spaces
• A server room containing 14 physical and 10 virtual network servers, and network distribution cabinets containing 40 upgraded switches
• 40 Networked printers and photocopiers are connected via a print monitoring system
• Internet access, ADSL2 and Fibre Optic connections to two ISP’s are available through content filtering and accounting servers.
